Roth Introduces the Newest in European Extrusion Technology:
The Roth DuoPex-c S5 for Radiant Heating Applications

After extensive research and exclusive development for the North American market for months, Roth Industries has finished all of its approval processes and is ready to ship the new and innovative 5-layer Radiant PEX tubing called DuoPex-c S5 by the end of 2006. DuoPex-c S5 is the newest addition to Roth’s product range of high quality and innovative Radiant Systems, Double-Wall Oil Storage Tanks, and PEX-c Plumbing Systems.
This tubing, which is new to the US market, has 5 layers, one EVOH layer connected to an inside and outside Pex-c layer by two adhesive layers. The main benefit of this new product is that compare to all conventional Pex-a, b, or c tubing in the market, DuoPex-c offers protection of the EVOH barrier from mechanical damages and the elements. This tubing also offers great flexibility and maximum durability due to the co-extrusion method which extrudes in-between and within the layers. This process avoids de-lamination of the delicate EVOH barrier. As with all other Roth tubing, the electron beam co-extrusion method is chemical free, always keeping the environment in mind. This product will replace the existing conventional Pex-c Monopipe beginning of 2007.
This is another step that is demonstrating Roth’s leadership in product innovation and value adding. DuoPex-c S5 offers more layers for added value.
